Ok, I decided to create a Christmas ensemble for fashion.me. This is appropriated to a tropical area such as Brazil. Red is a must have color for me in Christmas. I usually like to combine red and black because red and green it's too much for me. My outfit also have some of my favorite fashion items: shorts, big bracelet, belt and ankle boots. This black shorts look great with this cute red top and the black belt. The black ankle boots, the golden bracelet and the pearl earings complete the look. It’s a romantic but sophisticated option and I hope you like it. This year, I'll be wearing a red top, black leggings and ankle boots, acessorizing with a statement necklace. What about you? Tell me about your Christmas ensemble. Merry Christmas everybody!!!

Christmas Shopping - BAGS
The day has
come ... Are you ready? Some of us just
let things solve out last minute so they’re still dealing with shopping. I’m
done with my Christmas shopping but I know some people are still running to buy
some of the presents. But let’s talk
fashion! I don’t know how it works where you guys live but here in Brazil some
stores create some Christmas edition shopping bags which are just adorable and
really cute. I picked up two of my
favorite shopping bags. This golden Bona
bag is all over the top, I confess that if I have to reuse it I’d have a
problem. The new girl one is really all
pink girlie. Tell me what you think. Do
you have your own favorite bag? Leave me a comment.

Me - Old and New
I've started my fashion obsession not so long time ago. Actually, when I was younger, pre-teen to be more precise, I used to have a pretty tomboy style. I’d wear only loose pants and t-shirt and I’d never ever wear a dress, shorts, skirts or high heels. Now, what a difference: I can’t image myself without some nice dresses and skirts. Like I always say: never say never. The world goes around and now I realize that even back in time I had an unconscious reason for behaving like that: I just wanted to be different from everybody else, that normal rebel attitude. During those days, I didn’t perceive that being trendy is not really associated with being similar to everyone else. It was difficult to me to associate fashion with being different.
Now, I realize that fashion is all about personality. It’s also a genuine way to express ourselves. We don’t need to assimilate everything which is out there. We only need to find the right pieces which reflect us and make them become an unique part of ourselves. Remember my tomboy style? It’s not dead. I incorporated it in my daily life; however, my style is also a bit girlie. I discovered how fun it is to mix everything. So, sometimes I wake up girlier than others. Or, sometimes, I want to mix up everything and I end up putting up an outfit which is boyish, girlie, social and casual all at the same time. Is this even possible? Of course it is but you have to be true to yourself and follow your instinct otherwise it wouldn’t be genuine and, as a result, it wouldn’t be you. Check out this photo I chose to illustrate this post: sarouel pants, blazer suit, striped t-shirt, briefcase and open boots = chic, boyish and girlie. Amazing, isn’t it?

Swagger It!
Swagger.
There are many definitions for this term. Many of them deal with the way a
person walks, talks, dresses ... It is also associated with confidence and
sophistication. One definition presented at Urban Dictionary is “the confidence
exuded as a reflection of ones dress, shoe game, attitude, and how one handles
a situation". So, this is it. This blog will be about all of these and a
little more. Mixing is the word. But it's not a randomly fusion. It is all
about putting up a look which is basically you and reflects every single part
of yourself. Difficult? Who knows … but it is always good to try. Fashion is
amazing but if it doesn’t reflect you and your true self it’s not worth it!
This blog
will also contemplate a million types of ideas. I mean, there isn’t a “one
focus aspect”. I’ll discuss and comment on any different or interesting idea I
may come up with. I love music, cinema, photography, literature, Languages and
art. So, all of them will end up appearing here. Some of the plans are: posts
about celebrities’ styles, pictures of stylish people I may find on the street,
putting up outfit inspired by anything (film, cartoons, celebs…). Do you have
an idea? Let me know because I might actually use it. Thanks for reading me.
See you next post!
